ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ is accepting applications from now through Sept. 19 for student ambassadors for the 2019-2020 academic year.
The ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ Ambassadors program is a leadership opportunity for students who are dedicated to serving and representing ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½.
What is a ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ Ambassador?
ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ Ambassadors are a select a group of dedicated student leaders who give service in the fall and spring semesters to the college and surrounding communities. Ambassadors are also liaisons between faculty, staff, students and the community.
ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ Ambassadors support, promote and represent ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ through volunteerism at campus and community events, such as campus tours, student activities, recruiting events, banquets, galas and meetings. ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ Ambassadors may be asked to appear in college promotional materials, commercials and videos.
What does a student ambassador receive?
- Stipend of $100 per month for the months of August, September, October, November, February, March, April and May
- Official ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ attire to wear when representing ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ as an ambassador
The deadline to submit references and applications is Thursday, Sept. 19, at 5 p.m. in person to the Office of Student Activities, Cheney Student Center Room 110, or via email to cparra@gc.edu.
